Tania Dibbs: Collaborative Abstract Painting

Throughout art history, artists have collaborated with each other to embrace experimentation and experience the joy of making art together. In this class, artist Tania Dibbs guides small groups of participants in making a collaborative painting. This exercise is a great way to learn the fundamentals of abstraction, without the fear of making a “bad painting.”Students in this class leave with new friends, and a new perspective on abstract paintings.

We conceived of this class in hopes of supporting and making space for LGBTQIA+ community members in the Roaring Fork Valley.  If you are an ally and are interested in this class, we ask that you consider emailing Paul to be put on the waitlist so we can prioritize LGBTQIA+ members of our community.
